March 2024; Samurai Judo was pleased to host this years Judo Eisteddfod. A British Judo coach revalidation event led by Alan Jones 8th Dan. The event was supported by 44 attending judoka and 17 Welsh Judo Clubs. A great event created by Steve Withers and Paul Williams at Eisteddfod Judo. Alan Jones led a four hour technical session packed with outstanding detail, energy and commitment to Welsh Judo, demonstrating why he is an 8th Dan and why he was the most successful Welsh National Coach in recent history. The day was complimented by a packed First Aid course in the morning developing an further 12 qualified First Aiders in Welsh Judo.
