Samurai Olympic Judo Club Grading

This our second Termly Club Grading Day, where we bring together all the children attending classes at The Samurai for a well earned grade promotion. Gradings are an important part of Judo Skills development, recognising improving technical skill, experience and effort.

The day is supported by the coaching team at the The Samurai. There is time in the day for “practise” in order to finally prepare judoka for the grading test. There follows an assessment of the child’s proficiency, experience and  suitabilty for promotion.

The promoted Children recieve a new belt (reflecting the new grade), Grade certificate and attendance medal for participating in the free fight practice element of the day.
