Hard on the heels of our fantastic Kata event in April, The Samurai hosted Eisteddfod Judo second kata event in 2024; Nage no kata. This event also a coach revalidation event was assessed at Level 1 by Steve Withers and supported by Ian Cardi from Neath YMCA. The day produced 27 passed to Level 1  and 3 attendance certificates. The exercises were at consistently high standard with some particularly high standard displays, special mention for Gareth and David Morgan from Duffryn Judo Club with a championships winning standard. Fantastic development for The Samurai with 8 of our judoka passing to Level 1 for Nage no Kata.
